4K Solutions was selected to participated in a DoD Vendor Technology day in the metro Washington DC area. 4K brought together key technology partners Lociva, Blue Force Development and GoalZero to demonstrate rapid response “no-fail” communications and power capabilities to the CBRNE community.
The DoD participants were keen on seeing private and easily deployable LTE (high data) solutions from Lociva.
The Whitewolf LTE eNodeB’s from Lociva were “deployed” from the TOC out to the forward crisis site’s (SUV) Whitewolf. The two Whitewolf’s created an “LTE network bubble’ that were linked together by using MANET radios from TrellisWare.
An additional Whitewolf LTE manpack configuration was tied back into the TOC by using Silvus Technology MANET radios.
Blue Force Development’s – Blue Force Tactical application and patented technology was key to networking the miscellaneous CBRNE related radiologic, chemical, bio, environmental, weather, wind sensors as well as body worn with the in a rapidly deployed M2M network by utilizing Lociva’s private LTE networks.
Blue Force Development Corp integrated the the Scott Patriot 5510Hybrid PAPR/SCBA Assaulter Breathing Unit into the Lociva LTE network as well. Blue Force was able to “network” the Scott Patriot 5510 using their BTAC application, blue tooth connected to an Android smart device and connected into the Lociva private LTE network.
The Patriot 5510 status was fed into the Blue Force Command Web Server back in Boston and redistributed to all Android smart phones connected on the Lociva private LTE network.
