4K Solutions was called upon by our US Army customer in the summer of 2015 asking for Cyber Security solution that could provide Network Access Control (NAC) and Patching of deployed computers and servers over high latency /low bandwidth satellite links throughout the Pacific theater.

I knew exactly what the customer needed, stated David Theriault (CW2(ret), President of 4K Solutions, the customer needed products that were “E-5 Proof”, which translates into; easy to install, easy to operate and easy to maintain”, the integrated solution just “has to work”!

Working with our partners at ForeScout, IBM “BigFix” and Getac, I was able to quickly design and assemble the Sales /Systems Engineers from our vendor partners to put together the virtualized solution, running on-board a robust X500 laptop server from Getac.

The customer ran an evaluation at the Cyber Center of Excellence, Battle Lab in Fort Gordon, GA and used the 4K Expeditionary Cyber Security Server package in a theater wide exercise during the winter of 2016 with great AAR feedback.
