January 26, 2023: 4K Solutions®, is proud to have received and delivered a U.S. Army contract for five of our custom Tactical Integrated Communications Shelters (TICS) supporting the tactical communications requirements of a U.S. Army Security Forces Assistance Brigade (SFAB). The TICS will be used out of the back of the SFAB’s Polaris Defense MRZR tactical vehicles. The TICS supports comms-on-the-move (COTM), comms-on-the-pause (COTP) and comms-on-halt (COTH).
The SFAB’s communications requirements included:
– 5G commercial cellular for transport (CCfT)
– beyond line of site (BLOS) satellite communications
– dual tacsat radios with tacsat x-wing antennas
– MESH MANET radio
– 802.11 WiFi 6
– Tactical Radio Speakers
– Military battery power capable.
The Tactical Integrated Communications Shelter (TICS) includes the following:
~ Fan Assembly
~ Locking Door
~ Patch Panel
~ Isolator Coil Assembly
~ Stabilizer Coil Assembly
~ Shelf Equipment
4K Solutions will also deliver pre-paid cellular and satellite airtime with sim cards, antennas, training and support.
