4K Solutions, LLC, the leader in commercial off the shelf Radio Over IP (ROIP) systems integration, has delivered a large contract award order of our Radio Integration Communications Suite (RICS) to the US Army South; United States Army Western Hemisphere Command (USAWHC).
4K Solutions partnered with Instant Connect Software to design and deliver a rapidly deployable partner force communications capability that provides 5G network backhaul, radio gateway and server functionality which ties in radio, voice and chat interoperability between US Army Soldiers and their Central and South American military partners.
The 4K Solutions® RICS provides the “forward edge” communications connectivity to US and Partner Tactical Radios, then leveraging key cloud technologies from Microsoft provides language translation between US Forces and Partner Forces, as well as Partner Force to Partner Force.
The ARSOUTH G6 and 56th Signal Battalion soldiers, government civilians and contractors demonstrated their expertise in planning, organizing, and running two great weeks of RICS training and testing at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
The Partner Force Communications (Signal) soldiers (NCO’s and Officers) were smart and technically adept at learning the RICS and Instant Connect Software, both on their Desktops and Instant Connect Mobile application.
4K Solutions provided a week of hands-on training with RICS prior to the Partner Force soldiers arriving. Then the ARSOUTH G6 team led the Partner Force training as well as working through testing metrics and nuances of the language translation.
