4K Solutions was awarded a contract to design and rapidly field a custom GoPro Video Camera Kit solution to support our Airborne Command’s Jumpmaster teams video forensics requirement.
Each 4K GoPro kit supports four Jumpmasters.
By using GoPro Hero4 cameras enables the Jumpmaster and/or Safeties to capture key video forensic video data which will provide the capability to video document the jumpers during the jump sequence timeline:
- Actions in the aircraft & Checking Equipment
- Jumpmaster and Safety Checks
- Jumpmaster commands to parachutists & Door / Ramp checks
- The GoPro Camera kits will enable the Jumpmasters and Operations staff to evaluate their teams and parachutist to ensure that proper training has taken place and that correct procedures are being followed to hopefully prevent injuries and deaths.
