4K Solution designed and delivered a turn-key custom WAVE radio over ip solution for a DoD customer who needed a mil-spec rugged tactical solution coupled with a commercial off the shelf LTE mobile broadband wireless capability.
4K, a leading systems integrator for WAVE software from Motorola Solutions, Inc., paired that with the DTECH Labs (Cubic) Tactical Expeditionary Command, Control, Communications and Computer tactical router/network gateway (TXC-4), a Trellisware MANET radio and an LMR (Vocality radio gateway).
4K brought in their go-to partner for LTE mobile broadband solutions, CradlePoint Technology. The CradlePoint AER2100 series router enabled the customer to run both CONUS and OCONUS LTE sim cards and an added feature is the seamless fail-over from carrier to carrier.
The CradlePoint AER 2100 provided an encrypted 802.11 “Wi-Fi” bubble for increased capabilities and functionality.
