November 2, 20174K recently trained US Air Force Airmen on High Frequency (HF) Radio Theory, Radio Spectrum, Antenna Systems and the Harris PRC-150 radio.
Airmen had extensive hands-on with the PRC-150 radio passing voice and data traffic.
Students learned how to design, construct and use Field Expedient antennas.
The end of the 4K HF Class culminated with an HF Capstone Exercise. All teams dispersed and worked to make HF voice and data comms back to the “Base TOC”
Our HF students displayed high confidence in using HF as a viable means to provide their Commanders with positive Command and Control.
