4K Solutions participated in partner training with Codan Communications at Fort Bragg, NC.
4K Solutions is partnered with Codan to support our customers requirements during their Tactical deployments to remote regions of the globe and interfacing and communicating with Coalition partners. Our customers face difficulty communicating with their Coalition partners and increasingly with their own base of operations.
Our customers current FM, VHF and UHF short range communications don’t have the ability to link over challenging
terrain and over long distances. As well, BGAN systems are expensive, TACSAT and VSAT systems are not provided to coalition partners.
US Forces are increasingly looking for simple to use HF solutions that can provide, voice, messaging and low bandwidth data (email).
Codan Communications HF systems allow 4K Solutions to over additional capabilities to our customers.

Codan’s military spec 2110M transmitter/receiver is proven in combat all around the world. The radio is compliant with MIL-STD-188-141B ALE, FED-STD-1045 ALE, giving it interoperability with commercial and other military radios, with frequency hopping, and voice encryption.
Codan’s transceivers are extremely lightweight, rugged, comfortable to carry, and are easy to use even in the extreme conditions of the Antarctic winter.
The 2110M will provide back-up communications with the rest of the world should the Iridium system fail.
