A first in its class and designed to provide radio interoperability, RICS : ICE provides a robust compute platform with Instant Connect and Rally Point Tactical ROIP server or relay and bridging software. The integrated Cubic Radio Over Ip (ROIP) gateway bridges between a myriad of radios to include Land Mobile Radio (LMR), amateur and military radios, MANET MESH Radios.

The RICS : ICE has a custom storage locker and is powered by the 4K Rugged Power Center LifePo4 battery power management Suite which provides an estimated 4-8 hours of run time. The RICS : ICE is integrated into a mil-spec case with either fully integrated or external antennas, multiple ethernet network and 4 radio ports. Includes one year of replacement warranty coverage on all hardware.

The Cubic ROIP is compatible with a range of dispatch and Push-To-Talk over Cellular apps, the Cubic RoIP is the only RoIP gateway that supports the latest Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption to deliver secure standards-based tunneling across commercial 5G and dedicated first responder networks. TLS, combined with LTE over-the-air encryption, provides confidence that Push-To-Talk
communications remain private.

 

The RICS : ICE (5G) onboard compute platform utilizes the ADDC BioDigital PC card (BPC 12), a full x86 computing platform (i7 CPU, 2.10 GHz, 16GB DDR4, 1TB NVMe SSD) in the R8K ME (metal). The R8K-ME comes with a BioDigitalPC® Docking Connector, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port, 8 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports of which 2 ports provide PoE (Power over Ethernet), a 5VDC power connector, and a Mini DP++ video connector.

The internal three stage charge controller will accept 14-18 vdc and up to a 60 watt solar panel. The included wall charger will charge the Suite in approximately 90 minutes. The internal Battery Protection Circuit prevents overcharge, over-discharge, and short circuits. The volt meter continuously displays the Suite voltage, and reacts to confirm solar or AC charging. The USB driver is independent, switched, and is 3 amps.
