4K Solutions® has partnered with Lociva to design and deliver a US Army contract to provide a standalone nonpublic network (SNPN) private laboratory fixed tower and a portable trailer 5G cellular network systems to support the US Army’s Cyber Battle Lab’s ability to create their own n78 5g SA core network. The private 5G network will enable the US Army to better understand 5G carrier networks and provide multiple garrison and field 5G LTE “sand boxes” that will allow the Soldiers, Engineers, Department of Defense units and partner forces to evaluate hardware and software vendors products and solutions.
The n78 5g SA Private Network is a Tier 1 carrier grade, high power, outdoor 5G private cellular network running in the Band n78 network for deployment in a cyber testing laboratory, mission simulator and a portable system to allow flexibility across their range complexes. The 5G systems are complex technology and capable of defining and deploying networks that meet the US Army’s needs.
