4K Solutions® has partnered with System Innovation Group, LLC to design and deliver a US Marine Corps contract to provide a private portable mobile cellular network system to support the US Marine Corps Center’s ability to create their own 4G LTE Core network. The private 4G LTE network will enable the Marines to better understand 4G LTE carrier networks and provide a 4G LTE “sand box” that will allow the Marines, Department of Defense units and partner forces to evaluate hardware and software vendors products and solutions.
The 4G LTE Private Network is a Tier 1 carrier grade, high power, outdoor 4G LTE Private Cellular network running in the Band 48 CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) network for deployment in a cyber testing laboratory, mission simulator and a portable system to allow flexibility across their range complexes. The 4G LTE system is a complex technology and capable of defining and deploying networks that meet the Marine Corps’ needs.
