May 5, 2023: 4K Solutions®, has completed the installation, testing and training on their Tactical Integrated Communications Shelters (TICS) supporting the tactical communications requirements of a U.S. Army Security Forces Assistance Brigade (SFAB). The TICS will be used out of the back of the SFAB’s Polaris Defense MRZR tactical vehicles. The TICS supports comms-on-the-move (COTM), comms-on-the-pause (COTP) and comms-on-halt (COTH).

The SFAB’s communications requirements included:
– 5G commercial cellular for transport (CCfT)
– beyond line of site (BLOS) satellite communications
– dual tacsat radios with tacsat x-wing antennas
– MESH MANET radio
– 802.11 WiFi 6
– Tactical Radio Speakers
– The TICS is powered by BA-5590, BB-2590, MRZR or shore power.
The Tactical Integrated Communications Shelter (TICS) includes the following:
The TICS includes a Fan Assembly, Locking Door, Patch Panel, Isolator Coil Assembly, Stabilizer Coil Assembly, Shelf Equipment, cellular router, radio mounts, and antennas. Radios can be requested.
4K Solutions delivered a full mission ready Communications Package that is agnostic to vehicle platforms, such as the HMMWV, JLTV, LMTV, MRZR, and the NSTV.
